Welcome to Buttons Alterations!

Buttons Alterations offers a professional clothing alteration and repair service. We specialise in wedding / special occassion dress alterations.

We undertake all alterations/repair work including:

• shorten trousers / skirts
• replace zips
• curtain alterations
• take in / let out skirts / trousers / dresses etc.
• replace pockets
• shorten sleeves
• stitch on badges

Buttons Alterations was established in 2009 by Louise Drummond, a qualified seamstress with over 12 years experience, ten of which were at a leading high street dry cleaning company. She achieved a distinction in a two-year fashion course at Cleveland College of Art and Design.

Buttons Alterations Agent in Northallerton is Pinz N Needles (see right).  A Seamstress will be available every Wednesday and Saturday morning between 9am - 9.30am to discuss your requirements if needed. Items are collected each Wednesday and Saturday and most items are returned within seven days.

Alternatively for specialised items or alterations over £25 you can book an appointment to call into my studio at Appleton Wiske or my home in Northallerton which ever is most convenient to you. An express service is available for an additional charge.
